THIS IS DRIVING US NUTS!
This is a fundamental quality-of-life issue that hopefully should be near trivial to fix. Please fix this! It has been marked as "Planned" for almost 2 years!!!

Column resizing UI doesn't work was expected

It is extremely difficult to resize smaller the left-hand (usually Title) column of a sheet open in it's own tab. I can make the column wider but the smallest width is extremely wide. None of the rows has any content that remotely uses all the space in the Title column. This results in sheets not displaying more than one columns when in the left panel
It is possible to get the columns resized by very painfully moving the right-hand column over to the left, resizing it up and then moving it back. This is not a great interface for resizing columns. However, even this is frustrating to do because every time the cursor moves off the window area the column resets to the previous size.
Resizing columns in Favro should work more like Excel, and should include adding column autosizing like Excel. There should be no requirement that available columns fill the entire width of the page- It's okay to have empty space on the right if that's how the user wants their columns sized.
I was told by support that this is behavior by design but I have to categorize this as a bug as the usability of this UI design is so poor.

This is extremely frustrating and is the number one complaint I am getting from our organization. Especially users with laptop only experience difficulties in using sheets.
You end up in a situation, where you must use a bottom scroll bar to see the right side of the sheet. Very tiresome.

I also found some issues with an extremely wide left column. Especially when switching from a 34" wide screen back to a laptop screen.

Hi John Elpers,
The Title column is locked to the most left position as always. You can still resize the column by dragging the handler at the column title's right edge, and then you can rename the title as long as it suits your needs. Let me know if it works for you.
Have a good day!

Huy K Nguyen: It does not fully work. It pushes the far right off the page and I cannot see the column title. Chromes newest version, Windows 10, There is an issue with how it is handled. I am willing to show this.

Huy K Nguyen: Hi Huy! Looks like we're coming up on a year; is there a rough timeframe for when this Sheets update will hit? (My team is feeling the pain from this issue as well.)
