Child/Parent relationship shows regardless of what board each card is on

We often kick out tasks from a roadmap to a different work in progress board and lose the parent/child relationship on the card since they are not on the same board.

Lindsey Frohn Each parent-child connection is board-based, which means your parent can have multiple children on different boards. To preserve the relationship, you would need to keep the original card in the roadmap or create the child in the roadmap and then add it to other boards.

Dovidas Baranauskas that's our work around but it would be nice if we could create a child to the board we want it to be on using the checklist action of 'create card' without having to take the added step of then moving that newly created child card to the board we eventually want it on.
