The ability to lock views is super important. What this would do is ensure views you have set up on a board cannot be altered or changed without permissions

Example: In a workflow the user has a bug board alongside their backlog, both of which are focused on one specific feature within an overall product. That feature has its own view within the bug board to separate it from bugs related to other features within the same product. If people change the specific view related to that board (whether by accident or on purpose), the components of that view may need to be reset.
