Remove timeline or add relative date/times

It would be nice to actually remove a timeline (date) or to change the dates relatively to the date the event takes place

Duration + Starting Date Automation

Hi,
it would be very helpful if we can have a way to automatically populate the "Finish Date" from ("Start Date" + Estimated number of days).
or when we select the Finish-Date, it should populate the Duration ("Finish date" - "Start date")
Projects always start with the end date in mind. and the tasks are actually planned backward to meet that launch date.
such option will make life much easier for the teams.
you can contact us any time to discuss it further.

Relative date setting for automations

Additional date settings for automations, for example "When status changes to 'Done', set to relative date (day of the status change)".

Automated Due Dates based on "# of days" input
Andrew Suttar
As an onboarding experience designer, when a card's field changes (trigger) I want it to: A) "set Start Date"; B) "set Due Date for # Of Days in the future" so that card automatically becomes visible in Timeline view.

Recurring Tasks and Math / relative dates in Automation "Set Field Value"

Discovered this lack of functionality with recurring taks automations. There is no way to set a date during automations to anything related to the automation run time. Timeline or Date can only be set to a value from a calendar. One a recurring task, we need to set the due date to something in reference to the date the automation ran or in relation to another field (ie, add three months to due date and set that as new due date).

Smarter Automation for recurring cards' due dates
Jenee Lindley
When a new card is created based on a recurring schedule, it should set the new card's Due date and/or Timeline for the next scheduled due date according to the recurrence you specify. Currently, you can only use Automations to change the Date or Timeline fields to a specific date (so when I set a card to recur every weekday, each new card has the same due date as the original, which makes no sense).

This really needs to happen. Any updates on it?

What's happening with this one? This is basically the only thing preventing the use of Favro for schedule/meeting/recurring event management. Has someone come up with a workaround?

Björn Wolf what do you have in mind regarding this request? As you can change the dates now.

Dovidas Baranauskas: As far as i know i can only add dates. I cannot remove dates and also i cannot add a date relative the date of the automation for example.
So for instance i want to add/create a card to a board and add a relative due date based on the current date (7 days in the future or the 10th day of the month or so).
And if i move a card to a specific column, it would be nice to clear out due dates (because the card is actually done or so)
