Hans Dahlström: I think it would be useful for all 3 but would settle for a global way of controlling the order of tags from the admin view. I've gotten around sorting tags in the past by "grouping" each with a special character followed by the tag name, but that still isn't "proper" sorting.

If you guys are seriously considering doing this I would say to go a step further and create "Tag Groups" or "Tag Folders" or "Tag Categories" to house different tag sets.

i.e. you might have something like:

PRIORITY (tag group)

- Low (tag)

- Medium (tag)

- High (tag)

- Critical (tag)

STATUS (tag group)

- To do (tag)

- Doing (tag)

- Done (tag)

Hans Dahlström: For us, a global setting option would be sufficient. Justin O'Neill In my opinion there is already the ability for "tag groups". You can use custom tags to group them. The only problem here ist the sorting. We have to write numbers to sort these groups on cards (see my picture).

In these custom groups we need a strict sorting with global settings for custom tags and the standard tags because there can be more than one tag choosen pro tag group.

Timo Eger: When creating a "custom" tag, it still brings up all your tags though.. i was thinking more along the lines of having them grouped in the admin and being able to priority the tags along with the tag groups. so when you added a tag somewhere, it would always be in the correct order according to the tag group and the tag. but it would never actually show the "tag group" name anywhere. it would just be a means of sorting. but it might be overkill.. if we're able to just order tags it would be fine
