Capture Favro user in Forms
complete
Maurice Kroes
Problem: We use Forms to capture internal feedback/ticketing. But there's no easy way to get the logged in user for any follow up conversation, besides adding a Text field (which is not interactive nor gives notifications)
Desired: Allow for 'logged in Favro user' to be added as a reporter field in Forms.

Dovidas Baranauskas is it possible to put the user in a separate custom field e.g. "Reported By"?
If the card is a request or a bug, it becomes unclear if the assignee is the reporter and/or assigned resolver
Dovidas Baranauskas
Rob Goddard: Yes you can, when you have multiple Member fields you can select which one to populate:

This feature has been completed. Now with the help of automation, you can receive who from the organization has filled the form.

Agreed. Wanted to automate feature requests / bug reports/ etc without having to train users on how to make good tickets in the correct place and set up permissions.

I had hopes this would have worked with the release of "Select the user who performed the action" in automations, but it only adds "Forms" in the member field, even in the case you have to be logged in to use the form. 😞

We have the exact same use case, and it would make it so much easier if we could get the logged-in user in the form submissions.
Mattias Björkholm
Yep, thumbs up for this!
