We’d benefit from being able to assign colors to columns.

Right now, columns rely only on text labels, which makes boards harder to scan quickly… especially when there are many columns or when switching contexts often.

Column-level color coding would improve:

quick visual recognition of stages

faster navigation across the board

reduced cognitive load in daily use

This would be particularly useful for workflows where columns represent different states (e.g. backlog, in progress, review, done) or priorities.

Even a lightweight implementation (e.g. subtle header background or color strip) would already make a noticeable difference.
