In timeline view, if the card sits off the edge of the view you cannot see the card title. Make the titles always be in view.. see attached pic.

Even better I think, would be to have the card titles statically to the left and then simply have the boxes horizontally aligned with the titles for showing the time allocation. Kind of like a normal gantt scheme.
Why?
Because more often than not, you structure your cards in a backlog sheet view (with parent and child nodes), and it makes for a completely detached experience when toggling between the timeline view and the backlog view. Typically these two should be connected visually in the timeline view.

I agree with this. I often take screenshots of a timeline view to use in a presentation, and I always have to add titles to my image manually when they're hidden off screen.
